「Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! 」

「Eine sehr schöne familienfreundliche Unterkunft. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Im hauseigenen Shop werden Produkte vom Bauernhof angeboten. Unsere Tochter hat geholfen beim füttern der Tiere. Es gibt Hühner, Kühe, Ziegen, Gänse, Hund und Hasen. Wenn unsere Tochter nicht bei den Tieren war, hat sie auf den schönen Spielplatz gespielt. 「Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig-wohnlich eingerichtet, so dass wir uns dort - vor allem bei leider sehr regnerischem Wetter - gut aufhalten konnten. Die jüngeren Kinder haben die Möglichkeit, sich während des Melkens im Stall aufzuhalten und dort auch helfen zu dürfen, sehr geschätzt. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich, offen und nimmt sich für alle Fragen Zeit. Wer das Landleben und die Naturnähe liebt, ist hier wunderbar aufgehoben. 「We loved our stay here as we explored the Appenzeller region. We made creme cheese at the Appenzeller Show Dairy, went to the top of Santis on the cable car and also visited the Rapperswil zoo before also heading out of the day and exploring Heidi land in Maienfield, Chur and Davos.」
