"Property was a bit aged but close to the area shopping mall. Location is OK considering going onto a cruise then next day. Most disappointed is the breakfast. Cold, dry and no varieties. The option is the food court inside the mall with McDonald’s. "

"Stayed for a wedding which was fantastic all around. The grounds are incredibly scenic and the house is lovely. Had EV charging which was handy to leave with a full charge. Room was clean and tidy and everything we needed. Breakfast was really good, great selection and well cooked. Would stay again"

"Ashbys is absolutely amazing in every respect. Our room was beautifully decorated, immacualtely clean, and we have never slept in such a comfortable bed away from home! The facilities at the hotel are superb, and the location is perfect, with a huge choice of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Steve and Mubi were incredible hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return in the future and would not hesitate to recommend Ashbys to all."

"Great location for catching cruise departures at City Centre and Horizon terminals. Sue at check-in was very professional and courteous. Only issue was trying to figure out how the heating in the room is designed…but, it was easily sorted with a call. "
