"Nice 4 star hotel. Clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Had some trouble finding our reservation upon check in and again at breakfast. It was finally rectified. Breakfast was included and was very good. The restaurant has a very special view of both the river and the ocean. Service was generally welcoming except for delayed checkin because our reservation was not easily found in their system. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. "

"We had an amazing stay at The Orchard House. The pictures do not do it justice. It is beautiful and special. We stayed in the Library Room. Very unique and spacious for 2 people. I am in love with the bed/mattress! The light breakfast served (coffee/tea, cereal, boiled eggs, juice, toast.etc) was perfect and a great way to start the day. The owner Bill (and his Mom Lynn owner of the vintage shop Folly) are fabulous. And the dogs, Bingo and Bay are the icing on the cake. Would definitely...

The host/owner, Bob will admit the property needs substantial renovations to the exterior but don't be misled. The property has it's charm and the location cannot be beat for the price. Park your car and forget it. Everything is within easy walking distance. This is our second time for this property and will definitely try to stay again next year. "

"The unit we stayed at was well kept. Feels new. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds were the best part, very comfortable. We had 1 full bath and 1/2 bath that were clean with tons of clean towels and quality brand Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to Maine.
