Have stayed in various Holiday Inn Express, never let me down, always very good service from the staff. A special thank you to polite and courteous staff Chelsea at reception for helping me tremendously in booking our room, when I was let down by a nearby hotel who had messed up my reservation. "

"Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant."
