"Very comfortable stay and extremely clean and well maintained facility"

"I will not say we had a bad time. The room was pretty cheap, and we got what we paid for. Maybe it was my mistake for thinking a property owned by Ceaser's Palace might have a similar glow. We arrived an hour before check in totally fine to wait if the room was not ready. The teenager ( I'm not biased, this person just lacked that welcoming vibe) at the desk told us there would be a fee to check in early. Screw that, right?! My wife and i kept busy until check in, got our keys and made our way down the dark, dinghy hallways to our room and wow! Just wow. The heat drove me backwards when i opened the door. I made my way past the alarm clock blinking 12 with no buttons to fix it. I stepped over the beer can that housekeeping missed and got to the thermostate to see it was set to cold. Calling downstairs, they informed me that because it had snowed that day the heat kicked on. Apparently once the heat kicks on it takes 2 days to turn off. I don't blame you if you read that last sentence twice. Now, its off season, the casino wasn't busy and it was a Wednesday night. I asked if i could be moved to another room. My Ceaser's resort front desk agent said no, suggested i open the window and offered me one of those crappy white box fans. My options were to scream at a teenager, or enjoy my stay. Btw, its a casino hotel. Those windows dont open more than a couple inches."

"Everything about the hotel was fantastic. Beautiful location, proximity to Red Rocks (and a shuttle to get to the concert), wonderful rooms, excellent restaurant. Everyone was terrific! Will definitely stay again!"

"When we first walked into our room it smelt like dirty diapers. We noticed that even with the air conditioning on, someone had left the window open.. I am assuming to help get rid of the smell. We arrived very late, as we had driven 13 hours, so we went to grab something to eat hoping by the time we got back the smell would be gone. Sadly by the time we got back, the smell was still there and staff was not available. The air conditioning unit made a rattling sound all night. The unit otherwise was very clean. Sadly when we left the next day there was no staff available for us to bring to their attention about the smell or the air conditioning unit. It was just a drop box for our room key."

"A lovely place that captures the charm of Colorado with southwestern accents. Rooms are nice, spacious, and amenities are good. Staff is helpful and there is lots to do in Golden. Good restaurants and awesome coffee. Try Red Silo and Higher Grounds, both easy walking distance. Tim"
