「We loved the location—it was quiet and accessible to the Fondamente Nove vaporetto. Good instructions were provided for the use of the apartment and any questions we had were promptly answered.」

「The apartment is close to one of the ferry stops (St Angelo) which is convenient. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to restaurants and shops. There are NO ELEVATOR although it’s in the picture. The WiFi was so bad. Getting the keys was so inconvenient. We took the water boat to St Angelo, while the other person waited with the suitcase, I walked to the pick-up location and back. It takes 15min if you take the boat (single ride €9.50) to get across or 30min if you go...

「The apartment was perfect for what we needed - great location a couple of minutes from Academia bridge, clean and nicely appointed. Whoever did the modernising was not a perfectionist in terms of finish! But everything worked well and we enjoyed it enormously. The support we got from administration before out trip was excellent and the staff at the sister Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace were absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful.」

「This is a really great property in an amazing location. We had the Magnolia apartment and the living room and bedrooms are huge. The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. 」

However, the coldness is f the check-in process and communication with the host is what made our stay less than it could have been. There is no contact with a human except for the call to “finally” get the code to access the property. All communications is with a “virtual” assistant (AI) and I had to keep telling that AI “bot” that yes we were at the door over and over before I wrote...

「There is good and bad and unfortunately, the bad is REALLY BAD. First the good: This room is in a great location. It close to the water bus station and some great cafes and reaturants. The bad: The bathroom is small to the point that it's barely unable. The bathroom window wonyl close all the way so mosquitos can come into the room (in Venice, there are A LOT of mosquitoes because of the water).
