"This is a lovely boutique hotel in an amazing location. Steps from everything but on a nice street. We had the room with a terrace which made it very special. The breakfast was lovely with friendly staff. Just check the size of the room you choose as ours was small. Very comfortable bed and great shower! All in all, a welcoming hotel in a great location. "The hotel’s location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included in our package, and the quality was good. However, in my opinion, the hotel did not meet the expectations suggested by its rating on Expedia. The washroom in Room 304, where we stayed for three nights, had a persistent unpleasant odor, even with the fan running overnight. Additionally, the room faces a back alley where some homeless individuals were staying, and there was noticeable noise until midnight. Also, in the photos, the hotel appeared to be new and modern, but in reality, when we arrived, it was much older and more worn than expected. Despite being so central, the hotel is peaceful and feels like a charming retreat from the busy streets outside. My room was spotless, comfortable, and full of character, with that classic Florentine feel you just don’t get in big chain hotels. The shower had good pressure, and everything was reasonably maintained. What really makes Hotel Alessandra special is the personal touch. The team genuinely cares about your stay and goes above and beyond to help with anything you need. It felt less like a hotel and more like staying with friends who want you to love their city. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Florence. A real gem in the centre of the city."

"Amazing location, and equally amazing amenities inside the hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Good seating in common areas like foyer, library and rooftop. Front desk isn't 24 hours but that wasn't any issue with us. Overall, great hotel, recommended."
