Don't expect a 5 star resort kinda amenities, its an old castle that's maintained well. Special credits to the reception & the people at the restaurant. They were super accommodating & responded well to our rather unique requests (being able to have takeaway from the restaurant when we didnt have reservation, providing us with condiments, utensils...

"Very rustic experience. Loved the balcony, the views and the town. Comfy apartment. Plumbing needs work! Leaky faucets, boiler inconsistencies, oven not working but the charm of the place still won out. Lots of mosquitoes and with the lack of window screens,we were eaten alive at night! This was in mid October. Bring bug spray!Tuscalinda was marvelous. Very helpful. "
