The room was not the cleanest as there was a layer of construction dust in the closet area. We also were given the smallest room for 4-people and could not walk in the room.

Incredible off-season stay. The breakfast each morning was incredible. So much better than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. Fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was amazing. The Villa itself is a renovated Renaissance property and all around are little reminders of its glorious past. We were too early for the pool (starts in June) but I have a feeling that’s why we got such a great deal. The views from the decks are incredible and it’s close to Florence. The roads are windy and narrow, so be careful! But one of the roads down from the Villa revealed a spectacular view of Florence. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Would gladly return.

Priority entrance tickets shortened our wait (but didn't eliminate it) into the Uffizi Gallery. If you choose this option, make sure you're purchasing tickets from a reputable vendor.

Hordes of tourists in October...a broken ticket machine made a miserable afternoon for the SKIP THE LINE TOUR. I wish we had skipped the tour.

One of the best museums we visited in Italy. Try to sort out the issue of tickets, lines, etc to enter the museum ahead of time, since entering museums even with pre-booked tickets can still be a hassle, and the multiple lines, ticket offices and procedures can be a mess at times.

Absolutely fabulous if you like art. The Rick Steves audio tour is timed for about 2 hours. We wanted to see more, so we skipped it and spent 5 hours going through everything. You still have to get a ticket even if you have a Firenze card and you MUST have a reservation now.
