「We spent a week in Chianti at Villa Mesi. The property, and the experience, were fantastic! The villa is private but close to the town of Grassina. The vila itself provided a great background for eating together, drinking wine, and catching up in an immensely relaxing and comfortable setting. 「Beautiful setting with amazing views. A very peaceful week with visits from wild boar, deer, foxes and a couple of cats. The house is well equipped especially the kitchen. The covered outdoor room on the first floor was a great place to shelter from the hot sun or the thunderstorms (which were great to watch rolling in over the mountains). Lots of places to visit nearby (by car) but we mainly spent the time reading and cooling off in the lovely pool. Definitely recommend the house and local...

The host Mauro is wonderful with excellent communication, offering tons of day trip & restaurant recommendations.
