The Morgan San Simeon - Cambria by Hearst Castle

10/10 Excellent

"This is my first choice everytime. Its older but kept up nicely. The history of Hearst Castle makes me feel like we are staying at the castle…. My imagination is wild lol. The sunsets in this area are amazing. The hotel is clean and comfortable."

"Don’t count on the “breakfast”. The coffee was flavorless (weak). And there was no “selection” of pastries from the local bakery it was a single loaf of some type of sweet or glazed bread. And I will say the patio’s are pretty worthless, most of them face the parking lot and I mean RIGHT in front of the cars. No air conditioning I the room (atleast our room) just 1 single opening to the outside, a patio door that faced the parking lot for everyone to look into. So it was stuffy in the room unless u want patrons looking in at you in bed. The property was clean and well kept, but for the price, the “immunities” are LACKING."

"The hotel is nice. We expected more. We had a Keurig in our room with powdered creamer had to pay for water, but the big thing was we had ants and when we got up on, we came Friday when we got up on Saturday we stopped in and said to them we have an ant problem they’re coming from the bathroom into the room and into our bed. So they said don’t worry we’ll send them made up and we’ll have them take care of it and we’ll remake it will get you clean sheets so we were out for a while and when we came back, the whole room stunk bug spray. It was so bad we had to open the slider to get Aaron and we thought OK great you know that there’s none on the bed. There was none in that one corner no more in the bathtub however, when I was sitting in one of the chairs, they were still ants. They were on the table. They were on my arm on my leg since we were leaving we didn’t bother to say anything. But we paid $530 a night for this room and I feel like we should get some kind of refund to have that room wasn’t worth $500, yes everyone was kind. Yes, it was clean except for the ants but no not at $500 a night so hopefully you can let me know if I’m gonna get any help."

"To start Cambria is beautiful! Every person on the boardwalk says, Hello, Good morning or evening. The view from our room were incredible combined with the sounds of the crashing waves made our stay perfect. Being a stones distance to Moonstone Bar & Grill was super convenient. I think if we had one complaint...it would be...we needed to stay longer! Thank you David and all the Staff of Cambria Landing Inn and Suites. Glenn and Ana Mar"
