Great place to stay. Opposite the beautiful beach where you can join the boardwalk to walk along the coastline and an easy drive to the town. Staff and reception were very helpful and breakfast is inclusive. Recommended.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite with queen and pullout before visiting Hearst castle. This worked well for our family of 5 and we were pleasantly surprised by 2 bathrooms. Access to the beach and boardwalk to walk next to the ocean is directly across the street. Fun fireplaces for outdoor gathering are also on the property. Overall this was a great place to stay near San Simeon. Only two complaints keep it from a 5 rating - we got in late and had to check in at a different property. Also the air conditioning unit ran all night tho we did not have it set low.

Great location, comfortable rooms, and welcome extras including a hot beverage station, board games, puzzles, and more. Rooms are well equipped with table/chairs for 2, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The fire pits are well situated with a great view of the water.

Great location on the Moonstone Beach. Having stayed here before many years ago, was a little disappointed with the new 'breakfast' offering. No proper air-conditioning in the room, so would be challenging in the summer. The staff were fantastic.

Good size room and very clean! We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and fireplace in it. The comfy chairs by the window were nice look out at the ocean while enjoying some morning coffee. The rooms also have patios with chairs and there are adirondack chairs and two gas fire pits at the front of the property, so plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. The boardwalk is just across the highway and beach access isn't far down. Plenty of parking, so you'll likely get a spot near your room and won't have to walk far. Really great location.

Pros great location, easy access to beach, food and town. Comfortable beds, has fridge and great views from the room Has a jacuzzi, fire pit, and game area Water station and tea area was great. Cons checked in at next door hotel because we arrived at 7 pm, checked out by leaving the room cards in a bowl, never saw anyone managing front desk. Bathroom floor needs updating. No coffee in the front desk in morning
