「This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. 「The property itself is beautiful. It was conveniently located in Old San Juan, but parking is about 10 minutes away. The breakfast was wonderful and served in a beautiful inner atrium. The hosts provided a great list of recommendations for restaurants, shops and things to do in the area. The property was a bit noisy, as people were loudly talking in the atrium during quiet hours and our room was also near the street. The ceiling fan/overhead light evidently had a universal remote in all rooms....

「The proprietor did not know he had guests staying with them. When I called he was surprised . First it is not what is advertised in the Expedia website. The location requires a 4x4, not a little truck, a Jeep Wrangler to get to it. The road to the location is not paved at all. It is all rocks, dirt, ruts on the ground and its location is high in the mountain, with gully’s and embankments to the jungle which could not be accessed by another vehicle (fire truck, ambulance or rescue). 「My family had excellent stay here while visiting Rincon. John was an outstanding host and provided great communication before and during our stay. He took the time to share advice and suggestions about nearby activities. John also put out a plentiful and delicious spread for breakfast with a great variety including fresh fruit. The room clean and comfy. Overall, a terrific place to stay.」

「Open air living with the exception of AC in the bedrooms. Wish I would have paid attention to not having a stove, but otherwise had what we needed. Safe neighborhood with a beautiful ‘boardwalk’ that people walk day/night. Walk to watch surfing competitions. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would reccomend! 」
