The only thing that it was a big minus is that the Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room, we notified the front desk clerk and went to our room to try to fix it but couldn't be fixed and in that area my phone didn't have good reception there, other than that it was great. "The place is very nice and comfortable with a huge balcony with wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean, wonderful birds, palm trees. Fantastic pool, everything is well maintained, and every need was well handled.Be aware that it's a pretty long walk up to the penthouse on a winding staircase. Good exercise at least. It is not true that you can walk to town on the beach; it is blocked by a large commercial pier. We learned to call Ubers on whatsapp to get to and from town. Maybe check to see the state of the Sargasso infusion on the beaches. It was impossible to use the beach and walk in and out of the water. WE loved being there anyway. Puerto Morelos is a wonderful place and the apartment was great. We would definitely return."
