"Just wait until they are done renovating this hotel because those rooms are not worth that amount"

"Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing overall. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the EV charging stations, but the charger needed for my vehicle was broken and unusable, which created a major inconvenience. When I asked about the broken charger they said it had been that way for quite some time. The bar service was also very poor. Staff seemed inattentive, service was slow, and the overall experience felt disorganized. On top of that, the hotel decor is undergoing a remodel which, in my opinion is not an improvement. Having stayed here several times over the years, I've enjoyed the industrial Soho decor charm. It's now gone and feels very "on brand" with the chain. There were a few decent aspects to the stay, but overall it did not meet expectations, and we will likely choose a different hotel next time."

"This was my second stay, and I’m glad I came back. Rating it 5 stars on this trip. I feel like the room was extremely clean compared to last time. I would still love a full length mirror in the room ;) but not a deal breaker. Excellent perks too for Expedia members with status."

"My stay at the Aloft Marriott was less than desirable, less than satisfactory. I arrived late Saturday night and the room that I was placed in was terrible. The smell in the room was awful. It smelled like mildew and dog urine. I went to the front desk and was advised that they couldn’t change my room due to them being booked and everywhere else in the city was booked as well. On Sunday morning the gentleman was nice enough to change my room and put me in a suite. That room also smelled bad as well but not as bad as the previous room. I went to take a shower this morning and noticed a brown substance on one of the washcloths. I ended up going to purchase another rag and towel so I could shower before checkout. Luckily I was able to book a stay at a different hotel for the remainder of my trip as the manager wasn’t willing to make any other accommodations after making them aware of the situation. I usually don’t complain about my stays but this stay was beyond disappointing."
