"Every time I’m visiting Plano and/or surrounding areas I always make it a point to stay at the samdman. Convenient location, great amenities, gas station and restaurant nearby. Also 2 restaurants downstairs (sharks & Moxies which are great!). Property is always clean and staff is always helpful! I’m already looking forward to my next stay"

"This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in recent memory. It's clean and comfortable, parking is included and secure; staff is friendly; the breakfast was super impressive with something for everyone (plus really great coffee); and the complimentary evening drinks and hors d'oeuvres (which could really serve as a meal) are a terrific touch. We didn't try the pool or hot tub, but they looked nice! The on-site restaurant/bar is fine. We only ate there once, the evening we arrived, but I recommend venturing elsewhere for lunch and dinner (if the hors d'oeuvres aren't enough)."
