An absolute delight to spend at least an hour over after a relaxing onsen. Absolutely fantastic. Hotel offers daily routine shuttle down to the lake and town. "Perfect if you want an old-fashioned, really traditional Japanese inn experience. Shared public bath, views of the lake, futon bedding in tatami rooms (sit on the floor), breakfast is hot rice with a raw egg or ochazuke… it’s hard to find places like that anymore. And the bus to wherever you want to go stops either at the hotel or across the street."

"Set on top of a mountain with beautiful views and just a short distance from the beach, this was a wonderful place to stay! The location was peaceful and scenic, and the rooms were very nice, clean, and well maintained. We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room with tatami floors, and our futons were already set up and ready for us when we arrived.
