"Our family enjoyed the rooftop bath, private onsen in room. The 1F M/F onsen was probably best with no kids although no specific rules against. The cold swimming pool was only open to midday, so that was unfortunate. Such a great location, our room had a good view of Fujisan in the morning but clouded over by late morning. Food was excellent, the courses changed by day so we appreciated that over our two night stay.
We did book the Japanese style so that we could comfortably fit 4 and to be honest my back couldn’t take another night of it - not the hotel’s fault. Next time going for a western room with private onsen.
