"Fantastic warm welcome from this family run pension, they go out of their way for their guests. Rooms are basic but had what we needed. Food was tasty and beautifully presented and it was lovely to use the hot bath after a long day’s walking. In the days of corporate hotels with no individuality this is a breath of fresh air."

"The best so far of our family Japan trip! Hatsue and Genki were the most gracious hosts, embracing us with such kindness us as if we were family. The place was comfortable and spacious, a well kept traditional Japanese home. It was quiet and quaint, a welcome respite and retreat from the noise and rush of the city.
