「Everything about the property was great. The two people who I interacted with, probably the owners were very nice and helpful. Nice little breakfast was put out during our stay. Muffins were great. Rooms were just right and very clean. Very nice area to sit outside and relax at anytime. Enjoyed sitting out at their dock watching the sunrise and sunset. Perfect location for visiting Northport, leeland and Glen arbor. Would definitely recommend!!」

「Extremely disappointing — would never recommend Our stay at Sugar Beach Resort was extremely disappointing. The bathroom was nasty, and the shower had visible mold. The bed was also very uncomfortable. We specifically paid extra for a room with a view, but the front desk initially gave us a room with the view blocked by a large tree. They didn’t resolve the issue until we complained twice. Why advertise and charge for a view if you’re not going to provide it? The “breakfast” was honestly...

「The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, bright and tastefully decorated. And the breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed sunset on the beach and watching the ducks swim in the lake. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Traverse City.」
