"This property is a ways from the main roads, but it is a very quaint and relaxing place. If you want to learn about history and enjoy nature this is the place to come. It’s not a Hilton, so don’t expect that kind of amenities. The host/receptionist, Dan, is super helpful and knowledgeable. "

"Villa Maude is an exquisite jewel nestled in Virginia's "horse country" with a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I stayed in the Van Gogh room, and it was most comfortable. The host, Maude, was very accommodating. Darla, the dog, after a couple of obligatory barks (dutifully protecting the manse) was a real sweetheart. "Right off the highway, comfortable, safe and clean! The only minor issue was the door to the courtyard closes with a loud CLUNK, and my unit was right above it. Know you need to contact the office if you're arriving after 7pm; they will text you lockbox info to get your key. Will stay here again!"
