「Pros: The property itself is visually very nice and has a lot of potential. Cons: The lack of modernization is starting to show. My biggest concern was the lighting; many areas of the property are quite dark at night, which felt like a significant safety issue. Additionally, be prepared for a lot of stairs. If you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns, navigating the layout is difficult. Bottom Line: It’s a lovely setting, but it really needs an upgrade in terms of lighting and accessibility...

「I didn’t know there was no elevator, but they were able to give us another room on the first floor. Also, the sink drained very slowly, but there was no one to try to fix it. We were there for 4 nights.」

「We really enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It is located in lovely VA farm/vineyard country with beautiful views from various rooms in the Manor. The accommodations and common areas where beautifully appointed. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was substantial and very good (fresh eggs from their chickens apparently!). The staff was warm and gracious always anticipating our needs. They even had a Lucid EV charger that they allowed us to use prior to leaving to allieve my range...

「Ample parking. Just off the highway, so depending upon what you are hoping from, could be a great location. My drive to DC was <40 minutes although I used the express lanes (dynamic pricing in effect). They have lots of events happening and while they usually wrap up by 10pm, you could find your room to be affected by the noise. 」
