「My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Broadhead Mountain Retreat! We were looking for a weekend getaway in a beautiful quiet location that's not too far from other things to do (tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc) and this fit the bill perfectly. Make sure you get groceries and any other necessities before you head up the mountain to avoid making extra trips up and down the unpaved road. Four wheel drive is a good choice if possible but it's doable without one. Highly recommend!」

「This is a lovely place to stay in Charlottesville. The rooms and lobby are fantastic. We enjoyed the arboretum behind the hotel. The staff is helpful and I love the ability to text requests. The food was a bit disappointing this time compared to previous stays. Nobody staffing the espresso machine and no other options close by. Breakfast was pricey and mediocre. 」

「House was comfortable and cozy, in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. Beds were super comfy, bedding was very nice. Well appointed kitchen and great outdoor dining area. A few glitches: 1. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. 2. There’s only one bathroom in the main house for three sleeping areas, which requires upstairs sleepers to descend a very steep staircase to use the bathroom. 3.
