「Fantastic hosts. Separate apartment in the basement of family house. Beds excellent. Great shower. Hosts provided not only snacks but fresh eggs from their chickens! They have a super friendly dog, many chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas. I got to feed and pet and brush them. If I'm ever near Charlottesville again I'll come back here for sure.」

「A tropical Paradise in the middle of Charlottesville, close to everything yet very tranquil. Wonderful bedrooms and discrete work areas on the inside accentuate the unbelievable pool area and pavilion behind. Beautifully well done, and not adequately depicted in pictures. It’s a near perfect getaway venue. Amazing hosts were always available and nothing went undone or wanting. Very responsive and cordial.」

「We enjoyed this apartment in the heart of downtown Charlottesville. The apartment building was warm and had charming, old architectural details. The rooms were quite spacious, and the abundance of natural sunlight from the large windows was inviting. The piano added a fun touch. 「Located in the Belmont district, the unit was perfect for our weekend. The unit is exactly as shown and it is comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. The best part is the location! Walking distance, literally behind, Belmont’s Main Street where you have the quaintest restaurants. Main Street Mall is 1/2 mile walk where you find tons of bars, restaurants and two main art venues, the Jefferson and Paramount Theaters. We will definitely come back!」

「Great. Only problem. There were dirty dishes in dishwasher. No biggie for me so I was just going to wash them but no soap to do so. I bought some, washed and put away the dishes. I was not sure what to do with trash but left trash bag in trash can. When I got home, I found out where it should go to. Sorry about that. Place was perfect for me. Had a great visit with my granddaughter at UVA,」

「Fools gold. You may pull up and think, hmmm. But open the pink door and down the stairs, you find a little sanctuary. Comfortable for two and some privacy as well, as the area is sectioned off. Everything you need for a few days and if you need a longer stay, of course. (We love to eat out as well). The bed is comfortable and the towels are soft. You have your basic amenities. We brought our pup, and they even have a pup blanket:) how sweet is that!!! I promise you will enjoy this place....

「Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. The Fresh eggs, courtesy of their chickens, were a treat and the farm animals are such fun…esp Posy, Zoey and Hemingway. We hope to return soon for a longer retreat! Thank you...

「House was comfortable and cozy, in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. Beds were super comfy, bedding was very nice. Well appointed kitchen and great outdoor dining area. A few glitches: 1. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. 2. There’s only one bathroom in the main house for three sleeping areas, which requires upstairs sleepers to descend a very steep staircase to use the bathroom. 3. The fourth single bed and second full bath are in the annex area, attached to the main house with a breezeway. Door to the...
