「If you are going to Mackinaw City, you really should stay on the beach. The Hamilton Inn was affordable, clean and best of all, right on the beach. There was also an indoor pool in case of bad weather, but we did not use it.
Breakfast of scrambled eggs and waffles was available. It was hot and delicious.
I did wish there were amenities like a lounge or restaurant, but there were lounges within a 3 block radius that were walkable, even for us senior citizens. 」
「Only inconvenience is the road in front of the hotel is a fast-moving highway with no pedestrian crossing toward the lake, which may not be the responsibiliy of the hotel. But still..」
「We had a King Suite and it was like having our own apartment. So cute comfy and cozy. Breakfast was great each morning. Staff was so attentive.Easy walk to downtown. Outside property was beautiful. Loved our stay. Would definitely stay here again. 」
「I chose it over others in the area for the beach. I was not disappointed. The weather was cold but my purpose was to study not to do a lot of outdoor activities. It was quiet and relaxed. I appreciated the staff also.」
