  • Large spacious home and heated entertaining area! Large groups welcome!! Great for hunters, boaters, off road enthusiast or just a getaway. ORV trail right across the road. Public boat launch near by for all sports lake. Beautiful fall colors and great winter trails. Fire pit for those cool evenings available. Play area for the kids and large front yard for games. Come stay and enjoy the Up North! Up to 2 dogs aloud. You must pick up after them.

We were a group of 8 friends in the area to ride the ORV trails. Ideal location to do that. After riding it was great to come back to the man cave garage and kick back, play some pool and watch the ballgame. We've been doing this annual trip for almost 20 years and this is one of the best places we've ever stayed. Thanks for the accommodations Jenny! We will be back and I highly recommend Blue Bear Hideout!

So many beds

Enjoyed our stay for our annual girls trail riding weekend. Spacious kitchen and open floor plan was nice for gathering in the morning and evening. Loved all the sleeping space.

Great group location

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean, easy to use, and exactly as described. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions and very helpful. We had plenty of space for the dog to play and so many activities to keep everyone busy even on the rainy days. We would definitely stay here again.

ATV Trip

We have been going up to the Kalkaska Trail system for years this by far was the best trip. House was perfectly located on the trails and had plenty of room for trailer parking and to stretch out.

Great weekend away

Had a great time at Bear Lake. The house was very nice but the garage is amazing. We spent most of the weekend hanging out in the garage playing games and watching football. We caught some trout on Bear Lake and had a great time just hanging around the property with games and campfires.

Direct Trail Access

If you looking to ride the Kalkaska Trail system, there is no better place. Literally across the street and you are in the trails. Clean cabin with everything you would ever need with a bonus party garage perfect for any group size. A must stay.

Guys weekend.

This property was perfect for our group. Main house was perfect for sleeping and some cooking. We spent most of the time in the garage. We did some fishing the first couple of days but the weather took that out of the picture. We had a great time playing cards and pool along with watching football on the big screen tv. This is are second year here and we will be back.

Family Reunion

We come to the Blue Bear Hideout every year for our family reunion. The place is perfect to fit a group and has everything you can think of to have a good time. We spend all our time in the garage - what a blast! Highly recommend “Garage Pong” for those that are not skilled ping pong players and end up hitting the ball off the garage floor most of the time. Jenny is great and very easy to communicate with. We will be back again next year!
