"Excellent luxury cruise. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are exactly as pictures and the bathtub in the senior suite is incredible. The cruise starts at 1pm and ends at 11am, so don’t count on a full 2-day experience."

"Nice hotel with nice staff and a good location) Can recommend it! Only thing which could be improved is the noise level from the neighbours (or construction workers) since it gets loud quite early in the morning."

"Amazing hotel with unbeatable location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. You can order eggs in any style and pho a la carte. However, the staff was by far the best part of the hotel. They were very accommodating and helpful with their recommendations. The spa was also excellent and especially cheap for hotel guests (35% off)."

GRAND HOTEL du LAC Hanoi
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was very friendly and attentive. We loved the food at the hotel especially the breakfast buffet. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. There are just some water spots on the marble from previous use but not a big issue"

"Das Frühstück im Hotel ist schön, besonders die Pho, die sehr geschmackvoll und lecker ist. Das Hotel liegt im Altstadtviertel, wo viele lokale Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar sind."
"The location, staff, room and amazing buffet breakfast with fabulous barista was all at a 5 star level.
Even Katey, one of the staff helped us out with our flights and transfers.
Would stay there again when we return."
"Room was small and the shower room and toilet doors were opening to the room touching the floor, making water come to the room's floor. It was not a big problem and not a maintenance issue but how the room was built/designed. Otherwise, service was great - staff were all very helpful and kind; location was very convenient (5 minute walk to the lake, to cathedral, to Circle K (24 hour convenience store), to banh mi stores, to a number of local cafes. We are happy with our stay at Grand Cititel Hotel.

"First of all Angela was an excellent host. She is the best. I've never been in a hotel with such amazing staff.
The room was fine and quite spacious, with super comfy bed. Might be a bit noisy at night but all good overall.
Breakfast very good with lots of choices and also the chef would cook for you additional stuff.
We had an amazing stay and they even offered us to have a quick shower after all day we visited Hanoi, this was just epic."
