"Asante Inn is a charming guest house with very helpful staff. The Inn has a beautiful Japanese garden. There is a very peaceful area for sitting dining/drinking tea overlooking the garden. "We stayed here for two nights in one of the small double pods (up the ladder). It was a bigger space than we expected and quite comfortable. The walls are understandably thin, so be prepared to hear people in the rooms around and below you. There are earplugs provided, which is helpful. The staff were all lovely and we really enjoyed our dinner around the fire! We also walked to a nearby onsen and found the location to be very convenient for exploring Hakone. Would definitely recommend! "

"Nice staff, clean and have free green tea and coffee. However there is no private bathroom in our room. The property is up the hill and very difficult to walk up with luggage. The bus runs every half hour from 7:30-8:00 am and then every hour after that. You have to call taxi after dinner near station. "

"Third time of staying in Atami and also third time in Guesthouse Megumi. Fantastic location - try to book when the fireworks festival is on in mid-July, as you get a fantastic view from the rooftop terrace. The private rooms are simple with shared bathroom/toilet, but that doesn’t bother me. Will stay here again for sure. "

Already done the pre-registration bug still need to key in the same information one by one for different person, snap a photo one by one, then continue by video call with customer service, very time consuming. The property itself is nice and great view direct facing the Fujisan. We enjoy the BBQ on the balcony and jacuzzi inside the villa. "
