Fantastic room with all the modern amenities- sauna and onsen were fabulous and they left snacks and drinks. Some amenities were hard to figure out or didn’t work (projector, vending machine, balcony light made it hard to use the telescope). It would have been nice to have staff on site to consult ...

Nice typical Japanese town
No family restaurant or fast food.
Cannot see Mt.Fuji from this town but there is a bus that run from Mishima to Skywalk or other viewpoints that you can see Mt. Fuji but Mishima Skywalk has a bit farther view but got some cool zipline and suspension bridge.
It is a Shinkansen Station, and one of the hubs to visit Mt.Fuji area.
Nice if you’re around the main station area - lots of food and vibe.
The bullet train stops here and there is a bus to Mt. Fuji
