「dartmoorを観光する為に２日間泊まりました。私たちがこのホテルに泊まるのは９年ぶり二度目の滞在になります。以前は施設等全体的に清潔ではあっても古めなホテルという印象でしたが、今回泊まると室内とバスルームや食堂がずいぶんお洒落になっていて驚きました。スタッフも皆さん親切でフレンドリー、朝食は別料金になりますがとてもおいしいのでぜひ食べてみることをおすすめします。９年前は霧と雨で窓からは何も見ることができなかったのですが、今回は良いお天気で、窓からPlymouthの町が一望できて最高でした。」

「Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x」

「My room was in the main building on the first floor, it was really clean and with a good offering of complimentary water and hot drinks.」

「Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. 」

「This hotel is full of character, but the fittings, bathroom, bed are all thoroughly modern, crisp and clean. Breakfast was great, the staff weekday and weekend were very helpful. Dinner was good - the menu extensive enough to provide options for each evening they were there. Ability to park safely onsite is always welcome. The locatio is superb. I'd say top of the grade for a 3-star property. 」

I am not scared of the atmosphere of living plant and animal nature, I love it. but when there is dirt and terrible chaos around, garbage is lying around the territory and you are met by a man in terrible dirty clothes… I felt dangerous and wanted to run away. the road to the hotel is terrible and has one-way traffic. swamp and darkness. The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. 「ダートムーア国立公園の中心部にあるホテル。 古い建物を使っているが綺麗に保たれており、快適に過ごすことが出来た。 レストランでは近くにある蒸留所の地ビールも頂く事が出来、ディナーの際にはピアノの生演奏を聴きながら優雅に食事を楽しめた。 止まった部屋が2階だったからか、シャワーの出は少し弱め。 ただ、それ以外は完璧なホテルだった。ダートムーアに行った時にはまた泊まりたいと思う。」
