The hotel was wonderful. All of the staff without exception were friendly, pleasant, courteous and helpful. I loved the Yoga sessions thank you Franny, Caroline and Laura. The hotel is out of the way, which suited us fine but it is difficult to locate and if you want shops etc the Beach Club is not for you. The curtesy bus was extremely useful.

Great location, staff were very helpful. Was a nice touch that they put on a free shuttle into Salcombe. They also provided complimentary gin and ice and slice which we thought made the stay even more unique.

Property location is great with free transport to Salcombe town or Ferry from beach adjacent to hotel. Hotel room/accommodation had great view but was small. This was disappointing when considering the tariff for two rooms /4 nights accommodation. The bedroom lacked soundproofing, disturbed nights sleep for three nights due to noise from young children in next room, spoke to receptionist with little response! Continental/Buffet Breakfast included was very satisfactory and good. Restaurant, bar and cleaning staff great and friendly, reception staff very reserved.

We stayed at Harbour Hotel in Padstow and ate in the restaurant two nights during our stay. Then the same for Harbour Hotel in Salcombe. if you’re looking for a food experience then Padstow wins hands down. I would rate the food in Salcombe as good but Padstow is another level or two up; perhaps it’s the Rick Stein effect………

This is a hotel in a perfect location. It is so beautiful to look into the bay and so wonderful to be able to go on the most incredible coastal walks from the doorstep. Great to take the boat to Salcombe and explore from there. The room was lovely, but we were on the ground floor and looked out onto the bay, but also the decked area; so it wasn't very private. The

Room overlooking the beach, very spacious & clean. Good soundproofing our sleep was not disturbed by other guests. Used the pool and sauna all very clean & very helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely continental selection, lots of fresh fruit. Restaurant had a stunning view of the beach, would've like some lighter options for lunch and dinner. Mini bus was a great little added extra for getting to and from the edge of town. Very helpful staff eager to help.

Very nice Hotel. Staff were all on point. Nice to get a “Meet & Greet” at the entrance. Good location with lovely views. Food was very good although it was a limited menu and we struggled with variety after a few days. Breakfast buffet was also very good. We will be returning.

An impressive modern hotel in an amazing position on South Sands, only a narrow road stands between it and an excellent beach. The views across to the far shore are truly spectacular. Access is down a very narrow road with passing places. ( typical of this part of Devon). Friendly and welcoming staff. Large and well equipped bedrooms. Beautiful coastal walks from the door.

Beautiful beach front hotel with a gorgeous pool and spa, the extra little touches made it even more special, things like welly's available for sandy beach walks, shuttle bus into Salcombe and the free glass of Gin in your room on arrival with ice already there. Would definitely recommend as a romantic break away or fun with family (there are set times in the pool for children, so works for all)
