"Well located on the beach. The rooms facing north have no balcony, and the windows are locked closed. Unfortunately, the sound insulation between rooms/floors is very poor, and I could hear conversations clearly until midnight, starting up again at 6am. I use hotels for sleeping....I can't stay here again."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Sherry Frontenac Oceanfront Hotel. It truly feels like a classic, luxurious hotel from the 1960s, and you can tell they put in a lot of effort to keep the facilities in great condition. The hotel has everything you need for a week-long stay (or even longer) while helping you save money. The beachfront location is amazing, and the pool is huge and well maintained. There’s a basic breakfast included, and for a small extra cost you can upgrade to options like eggs, which is very convenient. I also loved the lobby bar and the on-site restaurants, plus the game area with pool tables. The gym is well equipped with plenty of machines. At the beach, they provide clean towels, chairs, and umbrellas, which is a big plus. The lobby area is beautiful, and the rooms are very spacious with stunning ocean views. I was lucky to have a great experience with the staff—especially Serafín, who handled both my check-in and check-out. He was excellent, professional, and very kind throughout my stay. If I could suggest a couple of improvements: when I was there, only one elevator was working, so having at least two per tower would make a big difference. Also, having a coffee machine in the room would be a great addition it’s not even about having free coffee, but being able to enjoy a cup in the room while watching the sunrise would make the experience even better. "The good: rooms are nice, showers are spacious and have great pressure and heat. Adult pool is very nice but good luck getting assistance or a towel. Beach wait staff is awesome -S/O to Miguel. The gym has great machines and a view. But you have to go through a maze of smelly/scary back hallways to get there. The bad: the whole place is disjointed in terms of aesthetic. Like creating continuity never crossed their minds. Service is incredibly inconsistent - nothing in the luxury realm. The Ocean Grill was genuinely one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The bar staff in the lobby are so rude and so slow. There’s a very tall man working there that is so rude and dismissive- should not be in the service industry. There was construction going on the whole time- luckily we missed the pools being shut down by the skin of our teeth. The beach is lovely but there was construction happening there too. Went to nobu bar and the bartender tried to pass off cheap whiskey for Cointreau. Turns out he didn’t want to go to the back to get the bottle- but we sent it back and kindly asked him to do his job and serve what we paid for. Overall: there’s no consistency or standard of service. There are lots of things in need of maintenance and you can tell where management hasn’t bothered to check in for a while. Underwhelming if you have expectations of an elevated experience."

"Nothing unique about this hotel, not clean, noise from extractors was unbelievable, the room service was disaster. Everything in the room old, the refrigerator was making noise we couldn't sleep, the construction in the room was sooooo noise. Believe me it is not worth paying money. I complained they removed 200 dollars, where spent 2000 dollars for 3 nights. I forgot about the elevators, 3 elevators one was working."

"Room was clean staff were nice at the check in, the lack of room cleaning while staying there wasn’t my cup of tea. Food was off oysters ddnt have any oysters on the shell for the price was not worth it. Drinks were watered down bill came up to about 700 plus and was not worth the coins. Overall the stay was ok pool and scenery that’s it. "
