「The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.
We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.」
「Hotel, even without breakfast service, is lovely. Kitchen available to use. While walking I explored slightly further afield and discovered a little cafe on the beach and the stunning old Heysham Village. I heartily recommend staying at this hotel. Owner very helpful. 」
「Had a wonderful stay , when you arrive the hotel and views are amazing , a nice warm greeting from lovely receptionist, we stayed in the Queen room was beautiful & lovely views , dinner & Breakfast was so lovely , cooked with best ingredients makes a change to have such a lovely meal & service all the staff lovely , my only negative was didn’t have long another stay would have loved to stay another night was wonderful!!!!」
「The room was very nice indeed, well designed, clean and comfortable, showing little to no wear and tear. Very comfortable bed. I received a warm and friendly greeting, and the pub itself has a very nice vibe, somewhat cooler than the sea-front hostelries, even thought it's only set back 100 yards.」
「I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles!
I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). I rang the owner again and...
「Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely.
Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful.
Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.」
