"Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious too (other options are available). All the staff were friendly and attentive and helped to make our stay extra special. We would love to visit again, hopefully in the summer to take advantage of the lovely beer garden. Our thanks to all at The Fleece Inn, for a memorable stay."
