「Would stay again!」

「Let me preface this by saying that Cheeca Lodge WAS always the place to stay. This time, not so much. I booked this stay for a birthday weekend getaway (my boyfriend had never been to Islamorada) and it was extremely disappointing. I asked if there were any complimentary upgrades the day before and the day of our check in (seeing as how it was a special occassion) and was told no, unless I wanted to pay more money and upgrade my room to one of a bigger size. 「Great location with many restaurants nearby & close to lots of local attractions. Our room was laid out really well with 2 queen size beds, large closet, & huge TV. Then down a hall into the living room, then to a dining area & kitchen with microwave, small fridge, sink & coffee maker. All in all a well thought out design.」

「Shuttle driver was driving while in personal FaceTime call. Did not move to help with van door which was hard to close. The resort is beautiful and we really enjoyed the amenities.」
