"Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. However, one of the cats was a real problem coming onto the balcony and leaving mess on the couch. Heavy music from a nearby property was a problem on occasions. "Incredible family run place with a lot of charm. Everything is thought through and the rooms very well equipped. Right by the beach and very accessible. I found it a bonus as well as it was very close to the trail that leads up to Boggy Peak (aka Mount Obama) and one can do hike up to the summit and back within 3 or 4 hours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything has been perfect for my stay here."

"We stayed in deluxe plung pool cottage. Very clean rooms. Property is well manicured and absolutely gorgeous with all types of tropical flowers in bloom. Variety of foods on menu and food was good. View from anywhere on property is breathtaking. Beaches are beautiful. Staff members go above and beyond anywhere I've ever stayed. They're amazing. Just go....you won't be disappointed"

"Staff were attentive, Kudos to Antoinette she was excellent and extremely attentive and ensured that we were well taken care of while on the property. The room needed attention to the care and upkeep, parts of the room were visibly not cleaned, issue with the vent, plus one of the sinks was clogged. The entertainment was good, pool and beach were excellent"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Hodges Bay Resort. We stayed for 6 nights in June 2026. As this is Antigua's off season, the resort was very quiet, with very few guests. We stayed in an ocean front deluxe room. The room perfect. It was very clean and spacious. The balcony overlooking the ocean was large. We elected for daily housekeeping and our room was always refreshed and restocked when we returned to the room each day. The staff were all very friendly. Every staff member who walked by always greeted you. We travel in the summer for relaxation, so we stayed on property the entire time, except for 1 off site excursion. As such, we ate all of our meals on property. We are not really big into the food scene and simple meals are fine with us. The food in property was a bit expensive, but every meal we had was good. At the bar for lunch we ordered burgers, turkey club sandwiches, loaded nachos, and fries. All of the lunch food was excellent. We ate at White Sands for dinner all but 1 night and tried a variety of foods. The options are limited, but we were satisfied to eat there each night. One night we ordered pizza through a local delivery service. The pizza, included delivery and a sizeable tip was much cheaper than the hotel restaurant. The delivery service was "All Mart" and the pizza was from Sarkar's Pizza. My husband does not miss a workout even on vacation and he noted that the hotel gym was the best gym of any resort we have stayed at in the Caribbean."

"Jolly beach was a beautiful stay. The staff at the resort is so nice, the rooms were clean and had a wonderful patio view. Pros - its the best beach on the island! The food is great and the drinks are great. The pools and atmosphere are so nice, you really do not need to leave the resort. Cons - its not the most modern stay (which my family did not mind at all), if this is what youre looking for. I would recommend and would definitely come back!"

"The Buccaneer Beach Club was perfect stay. The staff friendly especially Candace at Front Desk. The grounds well kept. My room was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again. If there is a downside, which there is not. The Buccaneer does not host an eatery, but why would it. You have a kitchen to cook your own food. Microwave, hot stove, etc. Next door is the Salt Plage which has good food. Great staff too!"
