"If you're considering staying somewhere else, don't! This is THE place to be! The home is conveniently located close to many key areas, a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City (why pay more) and the beach! Inside is spacious (you could sleep so many here!), neat and nicely decorated with all the amenities you could possibly need. If you're a nature person, the backyard is beautiful and so calming. The owner Matt is so kind and thoughtful! What place have you stayed at that (not a hotel) had mini toiletry items in the bathrooms? Extra blankets. Free popcorn. Wifi. Entertainment area. Grill and fire pit. Matt really goes above and beyond, and it shows. And it's pet friendly!! I really could go on but instead just do yourself a favor and book. You won't be disappointed. (Not paid, I just really, really enjoyed it here! )"

"We spent to delightful nights at the Whaleback Inn. The facility is clean and tidy. The host greet you and help out with any questions you have about the area. Starting our day on the porch eating a relaxing breakfast looking out in the lake was pure bliss. We loved the peacefulness of the Whaleback Inn. "
