"I booked this place on the cheap. It wasn’t as bad as a lot of the negative reviews made it out. Cleaner and quieter than I expected. Breakfast was standard, and staff did their job. Folks- you get what you pay for. This was a cheap one night option for me, passing through. I wouldn’t want my wife staying here alone, but the overall experience wasn’t crazy. Richmond is a pretty funky place, so expect a funky vibe. If you’re used to other BW hotels, this isn’t it! Cost is half, amenities are half rate, but ghetto is double. I wouldn’t book again, but I wouldn’t dissuade anyone from booking for a cheap night passing through."

"Nice room, very helpful staff, location was great -- very close to all the things in Petaluma we wanted to do. Our 3rd-floor room looked out on the adjacent boat marina, which was lovely. We didn't take advantage of the hotel bar and on-site restaurant but we were glad they were there! Only a couple minuses -- TV in the room didn't work, ice machine missing from our floor, room a little expensive. But we had a great time and would recommend the hotel."

The property is aged, yet the rooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff are quite nice and the outdoor courtyard areas are a plus, pool, hot tub, common areas, BBQ area are inviting and kept up. Its a solid 3-star property."
