HOSHINOYA Karuizawa

HOSHINOYA Karuizawa

8/10 Good
"The resort had a modern and stylish atmosphere, with well-designed facilities and a contemporary feel. However, I noticed that a large proportion of the guests were Korean and Chinese tourists, with relatively fewer visitors from other countries. As a result, the resort felt more like a popular international tourist destination than a quiet, traditional Japanese retreat."

"We enjoyed this hotel during a brief getaway during the summer to escape the Tokyo heat. The hotel is located in a very nice location in old Karuizawa (Kyo-Karuizawa), close to many nice restaurants and little shops, while also being very quite. Rooms are very large and modern, the hotel has its own hot spring (onsen), and high speed internet is free. Very friendly staff and a large and tasty breakfast buffer. We definitely plan to visit again."
