"Amazing weekend.Bit awkward to find as we came in from kendal way ..Sat nav tookus throughmiles of one car wide road but its a paradise corner with stream and garden areas.. Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary weekend.Fully recommended.."

Property surrounded by a beautiful nature - green hills, farm animals. Not far are nice trails for hiking. Kendal is only 6 miles away. I recommend this place and I want to come back in the future."

"Amazing cottage, a few steps away from M&S and Booths, and a few minutes away from the bus station - which for me makes the location perfect. Great kitchen very well furnished. Comfy living room once you find out how to operate the fake fireplace. Bed (double) is extremely comfortable, plenty of extra blankets available. The ability to control heating is a big bonus. I would definitely stay again!"

"This property exceeded our expectations! Very spacious lounge and kitchen. The 4 double bedrooms were a good size with very comfortable beds. Massive bonus was that 2 of them had ensuites as well as another bathroom. The property was immaculate and is clearly looked after well. The location was very peaceful and remote. Daunting single road to travel from the main road for 2-3 miles however after doing it once it was a lot easier. Minimal traffic. Will definitely stay again!"

"House is clean and tidy. The kitchen has everything we need. Water pressure and temperature in all bathroom are perfect. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The heater in ground floor got very loud noise after few hours central heating been turn on. Need to turn up the heating,(e.g. from 0 to 2, from 2 to 3)to stop the noise. There were high pitch "beeps" from ground floor which woke everyone in house at 3am and 3:30am on the first night. Sounds like the smoke detector but we were not sure. However,...
