"Lovely greeting on arrival. Parking on the doorstep which is a bonus being in the centre of Kendal. Check in was simple having already completed the online form. Facilities available were explained to us and we headed up to our room. We were a little cross with ourselves for not bringing our swimming costumes!! Room was spotless and lovely and warm. Bathroom was also clean. Love the fact that in the bathroom they have a note saying if you’ve forgotten toothpaste/brish/razors etc they have them at reception, simple but brilliant should you need. We had a great view of the river from our room, we couldn’t have asked for more. We didn’t eat or drink here but the bistro looked beautiful and inviting. Whilst the rooms aren’t super modern, they are comfy, clean and the staff are brilliant. We will choose to book here again when we head up to Kendal. In a perfect location for walking into town to explore the area. Many thanks "

We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. "Lovely pet friendly accommodation. Everything was clean and comfortable. Local to loads of different walks and amenities. Couldn't fault anything with the property, the BBQ and pizza oven were an added bonus. Wonderful for a weekend away to explore the Lakes. "

"Wow! This place was probably one of the best we've ever stayed at. It's huge, plenty of space for our family of 12, 2 beautiful living rooms and an enormous dining table big enough gor us to all eat together. The apartments were decorated beautifully, with lots of attention to detail. Rooms were spacious and beds were really comfy. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more! Jayne was really friendly and so helpful. There was a welcome pack of all essentials when we arrived and she even left a bottle of prosecco Kitchens were in each apartment. The location was just perfect. Right in the middle of town and only a couple of minutes walk to all shops and restaurants . We came to stay for my sister's wedding and everythung about the experience of staying hete was perfect. Thank you gor such a great stay. Our whole family were so impressed and we're already planning when we can return for another visit!"
