「Very comfy bed, friendly staff. Good stay for one night. 」

「The hotel is in the beautiful city of Grasmere. There was limited parking even though online advertised available parking. When I booked online, the family room showed two beds. When we arrived, there was only one. The plumbing was very noisy and the shower was very narrow and hard to use. The bed was not comfortable at all. 」

「From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.」

「Excellent location, within walking distance of Ambleside, Rydal and Grasmere, also close to the main bus routes. Wonderful hosts, really friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous property, huge rooms, large bathroom, comfy beds, good lighting, super fireplace, massive tv.
