8.4/10 Very Good! (1,927 reviews)
Sent to the management of Mani Apartments: The fact that your company must be aware that my Mani apartment and others on the third floor are directly above a nightly live rock and roll bar that is well advertised is nothing short of disrespectful and frankly disgusting. Because there is nothing of this detail disclosed to your guests on the website nor the possibility to request quieter room locations is frankly inconsiderate. As a senior citizen who was thrilled to have had the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong “bucket list” wish to visit Iceland. This trip was the result of years of planning and successful efforts to save enough money to finally travel for the first time to Iceland. Normally I go to sleep at 9pm. This sleep and my rest has been ruined during hours of loud reverberation of the electrified music through my apartment floor followed by another hour of boisterous ranting of the crowd of revelers. These conditions occur during half the sleep that I am accustomed to has caused a crappy fatigue during the day when I have been exhausted and trying to have my best experience touring Reykjavik.  Do not get me wrong regarding my love of live music. However, your companys obvious disregard for the experience of your apartment guests is plainly irresponsible when the downstairs establishment clearly advertises nightly performances.  I would strongly advise future guests to request rooms several floors remote from that directly above the bar.

"Hotel is very nice, very modern. Only complaint was the room: temperature was uncomfortably warm and couldn’t be adjusted. Sleeping was difficult. Other problem was lack of hot water in the shower - water temp was tolerable, but not comfortable. Restaurant was good, but somewhat limited menu."
