「We had a really nice stay here for 2 nights-we spent the days out exploring and came back to clean up for dinner. We didn't experience any disruptive noise from the kennels and the yard was nice with birds. We met the owner a couple times and she was kind. Everything was clean and they left fruit and homemade bread for us which was perfect for breakfast. Thank you!」

「The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. We also had the gecko brothers who kept sneaking into kitchen.The pond has toads in it and they sing at night, counted 6 one night. The water lily bloomed while we were there.The temp on the water heater needs to be turned up a little,...

「We really enjoyed our stay in Honomu. The home is comfortable and well appointed. Sitting on the second floor balcony and enjoying the forest scenery as well as the ocean in the distance was a highlight. The cool air was refreshing and kept the home a comfortable temperature. We appreciated having laundry facilities available and used the kitchen daily. The day geckos were fun to watch scurrying around. At night, the coqui frogs were quite vocal.
