"Nice staff, clean and have free green tea and coffee. However there is no private bathroom in our room. The property is up the hill and very difficult to walk up with luggage. The bus runs every half hour from 7:30-8:00 am and then every hour after that. You have to call taxi after dinner near station. "

"Extremely beautiful and wonderful spot to go to. Not a lot of food immediately around, but take a bus over to the station and you'll find a lot. Sadly not 5-stars because expedia markets this hotel for 2-6 people per room, but when you book a room, it only does so for 2, and on arrival you have to pay to have the other 4 stay as well. "

"Lovely place to stay - the staff were super helpful and friendly explaining how to use the on premise onsen via Google translate. Rooms are a bit tired, but clean and comfortable. The Japanese breakfast was delicious and highly recommended. The property is easily walkable from Hakone-Yumato station and has a great view of the river nearby "
