"The hotel was really great, very clean and great atmosphere, in addition breakfast was fantastic, offering good value for money All of the receptionists and other staff we encountered were lovely , always offering a friendly face We had a really minor problem that was resolved in just a few minutes, but every member of staff were really helpful. They went above and beyond to deliver a fix and threw in a few complimentary additions in our stay. Thank you for helping making our stay in cairns so enjoyable"

"We liked the spacious room with sitting area and balcony. Airconditioning was strong, and it has no adjustment, only on or off - the hotel even recommends turning it off at night! There is a ceiling fan however. Main pool was closed indefinitely, I think they could have let us know about that in advance... Smaller pool was OK, we didn't try the lap pool but others reported it very cold. Breakfast was a little disappointing for the price ($35/$38.50 on weekends), limited range and most of the hot food wasn't hot."

"Perfect location, walking distance to most things :) Pool is beautiful, pool bar drinks/food options are great! Staff were helpful & happy everyday :) View from room was AMAZING, my request was met! Can’t wait to be back, relaxing holiday:)"

"We had a lovely stay in the queen cabin – it was nice and spacious! Being right next to the Wi-Fi area meant we could get online easily (though not all rooms have in-room access). The mattress wasn’t the best, but otherwise the room was comfortable. It was also generally quiet (although we stayed mid-week so it wasn’t very busy). The staff were lovely and friendly, and the kitchen had everything you need to make a quick lunch or dinner. There’s a Woolworths supermarket about 30 seconds walk from the kitchen too."
