"Checkout staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The onsen was welcoming for foreigners and we were informed tattoos were okay too, which was an unexpected surprise. Amenities (including robe for the onsen) were provided and there were vending machines easily accessible as well. Short walk to Yuzawa Station so it was very convenient. Compared to other properties in the area, it was nice to stay in a hotel with a private bathroom for only a slight price increase from hostel-style accommodations....

"I chose this hotel for its location next to a ski resort and I liked the look of the tatami rooms. This hotel is very cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was small and old, the futon mattresses you use to make your bed were thin and I woke up achy every day. The staff were helpful and friendly with limited English. "駅前40M、口コミでも、宿の評判が良く1階のカフェ、2階のレストラン人気との事。お洒落な旅籠なので1度宿泊をと。一泊朝食付きにディナーを追加し、1番リーズナブルなムランコース。でも食べ応えは充分。食事前に板長から自慢の出汁の説明があり余計旨さを実感出来、丁度新米の時期で輝きと旨味一杯! 新潟でポピュラーな料理も此処では新しい工夫があり大満足でした。スタッフの皆さんも客を引き立てて下さり感謝。お風呂や部屋は窓を開けられないので圧迫感と照明が暗く高齢者には見え難い(若い方には雰囲気がある)お部屋もロビーもレストランもモダンさと古さのとても素敵なデザインでした"
