"This was a wonderful find. The location was great for exploring the charming town of SLO as the hotel was just steps to the main street. The hotel is super charming with fireplaces in some of the rooms and public areas. Some of the rooms are somewhat small but my room was a perfect size and I enjoyed the gas fire. In the morning there were excellent pastry along with some fruit & tea/coffee for the guests. The hotel has a beautiful bistro and a very popular classic bar. Loved this hotel!!"

"The ambiance was delightful. It was so lovely staying in a hotel/inn that had charm rather than the usual sterility of a chain hotel. It was quiet and parking was included along with a very nice afternoon wine/cheese gathering and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended."

The room was very hot over night and we didn't see the air conditioning unit hidden under the bathroom counter until the morning so we didn't get good sleep. It would have been helpful to have something in the room telling us where the a/c was"
