We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. "place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room...

"About a mile away from the beach. But rooms need work. AC did not work in first room. Additionally, there was a terrible odor coming into my room as well as others in my party. Staff was super friendly and tried their best, but I didn't sleep both nights I was there."

"Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough our stay was perfect, the pool is so tranquil, clean and the ideal temperature. The staff are all lovely, food was also delicious both breakfast and dinner. We had the most wonderful stay. Only negative is it’s a little bit out of the town but as long as you have a car you’ll be fine. "
