「Excellent low budget traditional pub/ hotel」

「前払いで宿泊代を支払ったのにチェックアウト時にまた請求された。 2泊したがルームカードキーは1泊でしか設定しておらず2日目は部屋が空かない。 備品補充なし。 ツインをリクエストしていたのにダブルだった。もちろん変更してもらった。 忘れ物をしてメールしたが2日前のメールのチェックもしていない。」

「This was our second stay at Buxton Crescent and it was even better than the first. The Spa treatments are the most varied I have seen & the Spa itself is is the most superior I have been to. The food in the hotel is excellent, whether it was breakfast or evening meal. It is all topped off by the hotel being well positioned for the theatre, park and shopping 」

「Clean, well equipped room. Excellent breakfast. Able to use swimming pool and spa area which was of a high standard. Plenty of parking spaces.」

「I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.」

「Nice room. The body lotion had ran out. I let the person on the desk know when we left but he didn’t make any notes wonder how long it had been like that. Shame as the tiny bit I did get out smelt lovely. Would’ve asked for more but only there one night. 」

「There was little or no noise from the pub. The only noise near my room was other guests arriving and departing. Parking was no problem. Staff were very pleasant and, due to them, I was able to get my head down in good time as I had been up all the previous night. This was followed by a very sound night's sleep. Breakfast was perfectly adequate for me (cereal and toast). The evening meal I had booked was again perfectly satisfactory. For my one night's stay, the experience was fine. 」
