Find Hotel with a Concierge in Fire Island, NY

"The parking lot and surround area was unkept - staff was friendly but a bit unprofessional. Hotel felt unsafe because the doors required no key or fab to enter in the evening. Staffing was inadequate and conversations a bit strange. There was no breakfast on Mondays which was also strange. Although the bed was quite comfortable it felt creepy. "

"Room was clean & heated upon arrival. Bed is comfy. Desk to work at & available Wifi. Room cleaning service came everyday. All the staff was friendly & helpful. Parking was always available. The ac heats the room quickly."

"They charge me for $100 deposit and told I'm gonna receive it 5 to 7 business days is been 10 days and still haven't received my money yet, I call them they said sometimes it takes more than. I mean how? I've never paid a deposit at any hotel except this, and the fact that they don't send your money back is crazy "

"I was in town for a wedding nearby and booked this hotel because it advertised free local shuttle. I called ahead to ask for a shuttle from the train station and was told it was not available. I also asked for a shuttle to the wedding venue, and was told that there is someone available, but they do provide transport to other venues… which seemed petty and does not affect the other venue, rather it affects the guest who chose to stay at your hotel and now has to arrange and pay for another ride. I witnessed two other guests separately have unpleasant altercations with the front desk staff as well. For such a nice hotel, I would have higher expectations of the staff. Otherwise, the room is nice and spacious. The robe provided in the closet seemed well-worn, which was not very appealing. The bed was comfortable. It was off season, but the pool area seemed nice. "
